Deluxe Hopper Conversion Kits

Now available is our Deluxe Hopper Conversion Kit which will allow you to convert a stock AF 2 bay hopper or covered hopper from its original appearance to a more scale or realistic look. Each kit contains the the necessary components to convert one car.
On the right is a standard AF covered hopper.

Left photo is a converted AF 2 bay hopper using the Deluxe Conversion Kit.
Each kit contains one set of die cast sprung friction bearing trucks ( scale or hi-rail ), pair of bolsters, air reservoir, triple valve, brake cylinder, a pre-formed trainline, wire for brake piping, brass grating for the brakewheel platform, screws, and brakewheel with housing.
